Wow! First full day of school today! It was great seeing everyone back. Welcome to the new families this year. For those new to the school I would like to introduce myself.. I'm Christine Loy, PAC co-chair for this year. I will do most of the posting here at our Whiteside PAC blog with my fellow collaborators, the whole PAC executive council. If you have any ideas on what to post in our PAC blog, please let us know!
What is PAC and who are the members?
It means Parent Advisory Council (or Committee). Everyone is a part of the PAC, ALL parents/caregiver/guardians of students here in our school, Whiteside Elementary. Every parent has a "say" on what goes on, issues that is of great importance to the student(s) and the school, and all other events during the school year. By attending PAC meetings, you are able to listen, vote and share your opinions and concerns on important decisions the PAC makes. We elect Executives to help organize and facilitate fundraisers and events. Join us on our monthly PAC meetings... Help and join us make this year a wonderful year for all of our kids!
